Walden JNR Duathlon
The 2026 WaldenJNR Duathlon takes place at Carver Barracks near Saffron Walden. The event is a perfect introduction to duathlon. The event is part of the Eastern Region Children’s league.

Club Championships
The Club Championships are open to all Club Members in the Tristar and Youth age categories. The Club Championship trophies are presented to the top 3 boy and girl at a Club Awards Evening to be held in early November.
In 2026 members can earn points at any of 9 races listed below. The best 4 scores count with a maximum of 4000 race points earned this way.
East Junior Series
The East Junior Series is open to Triathlon England members (join here) in the Tristar and Youth age categories. The races are spread across the season and can fill up quickly as demand for these races is often high. The Region present the awards to the top 3 boy and girl at an end of season social which WaldenJNR hosted and funded last year.

All club members are encouraged to do some racing.

Age Groups And Distances
The age groups for racing are based on age at the 31st December of the year the race takes place, and hence could be different for children in the same year group at school.
